Jungala at Busch Gardens is New and Green
Busch Gardens Africa in Tampa Bay just unveiled their newest addition: Jungala, and from its inception to its opening, Jungala is not just green as in jungle. Jungala is crazy for conservation!
Busch Gardens paid special attention to conservation as Jungala grew into the amazing animal habitat that it is today. All of the lumber used in building Jungala came from reforested areas. The steel structures in this new land also came from recycled context, and slate and natural materials were used to reduce the need for manufactured products.
The new Vivi Restaurant was totally restored instead of destroying the already existing building and erecting a brand new structure. This step played a large part in reducing waste produced by the refurbishment.
The open air design incorporated in Jungala’s layout allows for maximum use of natural resources. Using natural light and taking advantage of normal air flow patterns reduces the need for outside power sources required to operate the attractions in Jungala.
Anheuser-Busch has long been committed to conserving the environment, illustrated by its uncompromising attitude toward rescuing animals and their habitats. If you want to stay green while you take some time off on your Orlando vacation, you can feel good about heading over to Busch Gardens to check out their newest addition, Jungala.
And when it comes to saving, one of the best ways to save money is by getting your Busch Gardens tickets right here today!
