The flagship of Disney -- and some would claim all of Orlando-- dining has been honored once again with the prestigious AAA Five-Diamond Award for Dining. Victoria and Albert's at the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa has received this award for the ELEVENTH year in a row. Wow!
V&A's is one of only three restaurant in Florida and the ONLY one in Central Florida to receive Five Diamonds. As a matter of fact, only 55 restaurants in North American (US, Canada and Mexico) received the designation for 2011, making V&A's consistent receipt of this honor a Very Big Deal.
Here's a quote from V&A Executive chef Scott Hunnel, direct from the Disney Parks Blog:
“It’s an honor to be recognized for the work that the entire team does,” said Chef Scott Hunnel. “It’s all about the consistency of what we try to do, and the continuous evolution of the restaurant,” he continued. “We all work together to achieve that goal, and continue to search for ways of doing things better.
OrlandoTastic congratulates Chef Hunnel and the entire team at V&A for another year of outstanding cuisine, exceptional service and truly incredible dining. The award is well-deserved.
