November 12 and 13 is Orlando Calling, one of the biggest music festivals ever to grace the Orlando area, and the lineup has just been finalized. Highlights include The Killers ONLY North American show for 2011, and Bob Segar with Kid Rock in their only Florida appearance.
Not enough? OK, how about seminal alternative bands The Pixies and The Raconteurs? Plus Gypsy-punk superstars Gogol Bordello, smooth crooner Chris Isaak, indie faves O.A.R. and Iron and Wine, female singer singwriters extraordinaire Brandi Carlisle and Michelle Branch, and dozens more - this weekend-long festival is a BARGAIN at $145 for a weekend pass or $80 for Saturday or Sunday. There are even travel packages and VIP tickets (including wine, cold drinks, food, beer, and special reserved seating for all shows). If you are planning to be in Orlando during this particular weekend, it is THE not-to-be-missed event.
