It's a delicious time to be in Orlando, and it's about to get tastier! Orlando has lots of fantastic restaurant options, and the March 15 opening of Fogo de Chao will make it even better.
This Brazilian churrascaria, founded in Porto Alegre, Brazil, is all about the continuous service of delicious meats cooked in the gaucho tradition over charcoal and open flame. As well as the incredible beef, lamb, chicken, sausages, and more, there is also a salad bar that can only be described as "luxurious". Tempting desserts, delicious drinks (including the caipirniha, an authentic Brazilian cocktail made with muddled limes and cachaca), and an extensive wine list round out the menu.
At Fogo de Chao, you set the pace for your meal. Simply turn the special indicator on your table to the green side, and servers will come by your table regularly with fresh meats right off the grill. You may take as much or as little as you like. When you need a break from fresh offerings, or when you've simply had enough and are considering what might be for dessert, simply flip the indicator to red. It couldn't be simpler!
This brand new location of Fogo de Chao can be found at 8282 International Drive, approximately one mile north of the Orange County Convention Center. For more information, pricing, and reservations, go to FogoDeChao.com.
