And about time too: Downtown Disney to offer valet parking

We've all been waiting for it, because everybody loves a little Downtown Disney, but that parking lot is never a good place to be. Well, our shopping prayers have been answered: Downtown Disney is now going to offer valet parking.

As of today, October 21, valet parking is available at Downtown Disney Westside -- just in time for holiday shopping to begin. But it ain't cheap. You'll be spending $15 + gratuity for the privilege, but any of us who have been stuck driving in endless circles around that lot will probably be happy to fork over the extra cash.  Here are the other details you need to know:

• Hours: 4pm to 2am daily
• Location: Entrance 4 at DD West Side
• Cost: $15/vehicle, plus gratuity
• Pickup: Check in at the valet booth or text your designated valet number to speed things up.

Right now, the valet service is scheduled to run through January 1, 2014, but if this proves as lucrative as people expect it to be, it's possible this will become a permanent fixture. Fingers crossed!
