Mazel Tov: Central Florida Jewish Film Festival expands to three days

You gotta love the Enzian Theater in Maitland. Not only do they offer exceptional film choices all year round, along with food options to satisfy all tastes, but with six special film festivals a year, there really is something for everyone.

This year, they have expanded the annual Jewish Film Festival to three days: November 16-18, 2013. This is the 15th year for the festival, which celebrates the Jewish culture and history through film. The festival is known for often challenging perspectives, much like Enzian's other cultural film festivals.

Co-presented with the Jewish Community Center of Greater Orlando, this year five films will be available for viewing:

Zaytoun (dramedy)
When Comedy Went to School (documentary)
Aftermath (fictionalized account of a true story -- considered the best film this year)
Have Nagila (documentary on the ubiquitous song)
The Attack (drama, potentially this year's most controversial pick)

You can choose from a three-pass that includes all five screenings plus priority seating or, for a slightly lower price, secondary seating, individual passes to the film(s) of your choice, or group rates if you have a large enough party of film enthusiasts. Passes can be purchased at the Enzian website and individual tickets are available at the door. For group rates, call Allison Estes at 407-629-1088, extension 234.
