¿Tienes hambre? Then get ready for the Latin Food and Wine Festival. Saturday, October 2, 2010, the Dellagio Town Center is the place to be -- join an expected three to five thousand Florida foodies for an evening of food and wine, Latin-style.
The event is presented by the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Metro Orlando and the festivities start at 6pm in the Grand Tasting Village. Local restaurants will gather for four hours of sample-sized taste treats, plus wines, spirits and beers, all celebrating the world of Latin cuisine. There will also be cooking demonstrations and entertainment.
Admission is free but you will have to purchase special LFW pesos that you can trade for the food -- $1 = 1 LFW peso. And you'll want a lot of those pesos; participating vendors include Crave, Amazonas, Bahama Breeze, Chef Rama, De La Vega Restaurante y Galería, Dolce Bakery, and Rums of Puerto Rico. Click the individual links to get a look at their menus -- be careful not to get drool on your keyboard! (7940 Via Dellagio Way, 407-428-5870 ext 306)
