Disney wants you to go -- Gowalla, that is.

Use Foursquare? Disney fan? Then you might want to consider switching location apps -- today, location-based mobile app Gowalla announced an unprecedented partnership with Disney to allow park visitors to experience Walt Disney World and Disneyland in a whole new way.

Custom Gowalla pages allow visitors to interact with each other and with the parks themselves via location stamps, check-in points, tips and tricks in a virtual scrapbook, and even "collectible" Passport stamps. It is expected that as early as this Christmas season, 200 park attractions will be available for check-in, including The Haunted Mansion, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Space Mountain.

According to CNN, this is the "largest, most comprehensive brand launch on a location-based service ever." That's big news; in fact, it is potentially game-chanign news for Gowalla, which currently trails competitor Foursquare by nearly 3.5 MILLION users. But with Disney -- and Disney's massive fan and visitor community -- in their virtual pocket, those numbers are expected to even out, fast. And visitors can also share their Disney experiences via Facebook and Twitter, using the Gowalla app. Three social media outlets for the price of one -- not a bad deal for anyone, really.
