From now until New Year's Day (except Christmas Day), visitors can see the historic Harry P. Leu house decked out in its holiday finest. The home was built in 1888 and passed through several owners until Leu purchased it in 1936. In 1961, the Leus deeded the 40 acre estate to the city of Orlando, provided the home and grounds were always made available to the public as a botanical garden.
Each year, students from Seminole State College's Interior Design decorate the rooms of the home in various styles, from American Colonial to Funky Retro. Adult admission is $7 per person, and tours run every 30 minutes from 10am to 3:30pm.
