Orlando is all about the magic, and who hasn't wished themselves into a fairy tale setting of kilt-wearing men and bow and arrow-wielding women? Okay, maybe we just watched Braveheart a few too many times, but if you've had the same daydream, look no further than the Central Florida Scottish Highland Games.
Admittedly, the games themselves are probably the biggest draw - from the hammer throw to the boulder boogie - but the entertainment doesn't stop there. With whisky tastings, traditional Scottish dancing, and onsite vendors, there's something for everyone. Check out the schedule for even more activities and events.
Tickets purchased at the gate are $20 for today and $15 for tomorrow. Discounts are available for children and students. What are you waiting for? Get yourself to Central Winds Park, and have a wee nip of whisky for me.
