The fantastic folks over at The Daily City are bringing their Food Truck Bazaar to the Kissimmee Civic Center on February 1, 2013. This event hits 12 central Florida cities every month, and attracts thousands of locals and tourists to come eat delicious meals and snacks off often rather fancy food trucks.
Food trucks taking part this time are as follows:
5Gastronomy (amazing gourmet twists on familiar sandwiches)
Big Wheel Provisions (do not miss their spicy kimchi fries)
Cafe Cocoa Mo (gourmet espresso, smoothies, frappe, milkshakes)
Cafe Rouge (burgers, fish and chips, seriously delicious British specialties)
Carobama BBQ (Carolina and Alabama style BBQ)
Charlie's Bakery (cakes, cookies, sweets, including REAL homemade oatmeal pies)
The Crepe Company (yes, they have the sweet ones, but trust me - go for the savories)
Dimple Delights (don't miss the turnovers)
Dixieland Diner (Cajun specialities, including GORGEOUS beignets)
Local Yolk'l (all-day breakfast, including Red Velvet pancakes)
Saigon Sizzle (Vietnamese -- eat the banh mi)
Sit and Stay Pet Cafe (pick up some organic pet treats)
Swede Dish (Swedish food, including a burger called Ragnarok)
Tastebuds (Latin American cuisine, including seriously amazing empanadas)
Treasure Island Treats (Caribbean and seafood)
Twisted Cuban (exactly as advertised -- Cuban food, with a twist. Yucca fries, please!)
Yum Yum Cupcake (cupcakes -- what else is there to know?)
More trucks may be added, but I think that's plenty to start with, don't you? This is a great way to spend an evening trying lots of different things and mixing with other food lovers. Go once, and you'll want to go a lot more often.
