The Enzian Theater is a movie lover's dream. Holding firmly to the belief that "Film is Art," the Enzian holds a unique place as Central Florida's only full-time, non-for-profit alternative cinema, and its goal is "to entertain, inspire, educate, and connect the community through film." If you're looking for independent films, screenings of old favorites, or special events (like the Florida Film Festival), look no further.
Cult classics, like Scarface and Manhattan, usually play on the second and last Tuesdays of the month, and admission is a very retro $5 per person. If you're like me and never get around to seeing movies on their first (or second or third) run, you should check out what's currently playing. (Maybe you'll finally recognize all of those quotes your more pop-culture oriented friends keep throwing around.)
The only thing that could possibly make the experience better is if they served food and drinks. And guess what? They do. Do yourself a favor and plan your next date night at the Enzian.
