Based on original Disneyland and Disneyworld art that featured fashionable people having a delightful time at Disney, Dapper Day is a twice-yearly, California and Florida, unofficial Disney dress-up day. Participants don everything from Steampunk finery to vintage couture, and enjoy a day at the (two, sometimes three if Paris plays) happiest place on earth.
While The Disney Parks don't officially endorse this event, they definitely love to play along. This year, both The Magic Kingdom and Disneyland are offering cut-rate one-day, one park tickets and they even created a special pin to commemorate the 3rd annual celebration.
Spring Dapper Day is February 24, 2013, and even if you're not going to dress to the nines, it's a great day to be in the parks and see what other people are wearing. If you'd love to don your dapper duds but won't be ready in time, don't worry -- there's always a Fall event as well. Keep you eye on the official website, plus their Facebook and Twitter accounts, to know when to save the date!
